My real full-time job is Program Director, Music Director and Promotion and Marketing Manager for Cornwall’s Rock Station - Rock 101.9. So the majority of my time is spent working in the radio business. When they let me out of my cage, I like to play some tunes with a bunch of guys known as Rub Salt. Jamie, Daryl and I have played together for a number of years now going as far back as the mid-90s in a band called Luther’s Debt. Those were good times, jamming out our favourite alternative songs watching our friends bodysurf in the smallest (but coolest) bar in Eastern Ontario (if not the entire universe)...Pedro’s!
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure to play in a number of bands including Bedrock, Pegasus, Luther’s Debt and Rub Salt - with many talented musicians and friends like Steve Murray, Tony Wollinger “Dr. Bone”, Rod Bard, Roy Nichol, Don and Roger Lecompte, Shelley (Harley) Green, Sean Harley, Steve Lefebvre, Bob Tessier, Clark Werely, Ian Scammel and more!
My favourite band moments would have to be the five “non-consecutive” summers we got to perform at Ontario’s biggest hot-air balloon live music festival Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off.
Over the years, we have opened for Kim Mitchell, Glass Tiger, Sass Jordan, Theory of a Deadman and Finger Eleven. These concerts have collectively attracted tens of thousands of people to Lamoureux Park. And let me tell you...it is quite the thrill to play in front of that many people! Thanks to all who clapped!
Moving forward we are thrilled to welcome Jason Graveley to the band. We’ve been away for while. But now we’re back!
Hope to see you at the shows!
RS.
