Rub Salt originates from Cornwall, Ontario, Canada.  While the band’s line-up has changed over the years, the song remains the same.  Rub Salt is an entertaining rock band that continues to appeal to rock fans young and old.

Rub Salt now features three out of four original members - Rob Seguin on vocals, rhythm guitar and keyboards, Daryl McGillivray on backing vocals and lead guitar, and Jamie Day on drums and percussion.  In February of 2007, Rub Salt welcomed Stephen Murray to the band.  Originally from Wales in the UK, Steve takes over on bass adding his own flair and sense of humour to the band.

Rub Salt has had the honour and privilege to perform in front of tens of thousands of people while sharing the stage with some of Canada’s most successful recording artists at Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off, Ontario’s only remaining hot-air balloon festival:  Glass Tiger (2004), Kim Mitchell (2005),
Sass Jordan (2007), Theory of a Deadman (2008) and Finger Eleven (2009).
